Australia under Michael Clarke’s captaincy has slipped while bowling first –and  it’s the 2nd Innings they allow their opponents to score big.

 

Here is a comparison of 1st innings and 2nd Inning when Australia bowl first in a Test match.

Above table clearly shows Australia (u/ M Clarke) slipped up badly in second innings while bowling first. They conceded 300 runs & 100+ overs  in every second Test they played!.

 

 

Then, is this a recent Test match trend?. Yes!

 

 

Well in this decade (since 2010) in 149 Test matches (till end of 4th Ashes Test).
