1- Asia Cup(50-over)2023
The popularity of Asia Cup is very low compared to other cricket tournaments (all level /format) like World Cup, Ashes, Border-Gavaskar series, IPL and others….yet it is the most organised event cricket has held!.
And this year’s edition is an opening act for 50-over World Cup, which also is played in Asia!. Hence it would be interesting to see how teams display their performance, especially towards the end of tournament.
When you compare both Australia with India, its very clear that Australia bowling attack failed to restrict South Africa. They leaked lot of runs at the end inspite getting a decent start in power play.
India on the other hand were never put to sword by any of the Asia team. Their bowling was top class and it was Mohd Siraj who gave them that icing on cake in the finals.
This symbolising their bowling attack and dept they possess going into the World Cup.
The World Cup is few weeks away and apart from India and Australia all teams have played their last match before going into the tournament.
2- Australia in South Africa
After first two games Australia bowling slowly became inconsistent and South African batsmen batting became consistent. Their assured start in first 10 overs was the foundation of all big scores in the series.
