As the tournament progressed Delhi Capitals overall performance have improved. Their top order got their consistency back after they slipped in the mid stage of the event. Their 1st wkt have the second most(behind RCB) boundary strike in this event. Although their NRR was always below zero, but their result margin became wider, i.e they manage to win with more overs to spare. Its their bowling that looked significantly improved.
On the other hand Royal Challengers Bengaluru went off the blocks very quickly as they suprassed others by distance(in terms of points /NRR). Their bowling has been the hallmark of this event, as twice they were able to pick 10 wkts, most by any team. In batting front, apart from consistency showed by 1st wkt, their middle order/lower order contributed regularly.
Irrespective of the final result, RCB are the most consistent WPL team in last 2 seasons. It would be a challenge for them to keep their momentum after few days of break, against a very confident side.
