Let us look at Partnerships trends in Australian batting post WTC2023 Finals when they won the Test Championship beating India.

Since then they played 6 series comprising of 19 test matches.

From the below stats it shows from the West Indies series(2023-24)  their top order have not been providing enough runs to build decent partnerships. To show this trend I have used  two indicators that can be used for both batting as well as bowling analsyis . i.e    Run Rate x Balls per Wicket.

• Run rate will reflect the speed your team is progressing, the more the better.

• Balls per wicket will reflect balls(time) spend at the crease, the more the better.

The higher the numbers, better the batting performance, therefore let us take 200 as the benchmark for respectable partnership.
