Australia
An interesting and amazing aspect of selection from Australians for this series. None of these rookie bowlers -viz Daniel Worrall, Joe Mennie, Chris Tremain and even someone like Scott Boland played any important part in limited tournaments(Matadora Cup & Big Bash League) they played at home last season. Their limited over performance was not impressive enough to be in this squad…
However these bowlers were the leading wicket takers in last season Shield cricket(1st class cricket). With Mennie being the leading wicket taker(51) followed by D Worrall(44) and Tremain at No.5 with 36 wkts
