WestIndies posted their 3rd Test win under Jason Holder’s leadership. In Oct 2015 he was appointed their 36th captain, and second youngest to lead a test team. The success rate under him is very little(3 games), nevertheless they have managed to reduce their loss rate away from home (3/8).
The win at Leeds was also their 2nd away from home under Holder, suggesting they perform much better when playing away from home.
The Leeds win also witnessed their first double century partnership in 4 years. The 4th wkt stand of 246 between opener Kraigg Brathwaite and Shai Hope became winning factor for them in 2nd test.
