2nd Ashes Test, Lord’s.
A stats analysis of 10-over phases
Australia who batted first lost only 1 wicket on day 1, a feat rarely seen in Test matches today.
In the first Test, among scoring shots the singles were the least scored. The sum average of 4 inns(both teams) were 9.16/100 balls, which happens to be the least in a Test match played this year(maybe for sometime). Usually its around 12 to 15/100 balls. However the boundary rate in the first Test was high at 9.16 (usually its around 6/100 balls in a Test match).
Below is a statistical analysis of 10-over phase.
