16 Nov / 2014(271)…Rattle n hum continues down under(Aus v SA).

The ODI contest between AUS v/s  SA has developed an interesting trend. The last duel was a tri-series held in Zimbabwe, which South Africa won, and they dominated that series with the bat.

In 3 games played between them, 1595 Runs scored by both teams. Avg – 39.87, R/o 5.65, Scoring rate 49.49. Hence ongoing series in Australia would be an interesting contest for couple of reason

  • How Australia will try to redeem their recent(since WC 2007) success rate(37.50%) against South Africa.
  • How South Africa would comeback after a 5th (T20)series defeat to Australia.

Here is how both teams performed in the last ODI series played in Zimbabwe.
