Australian batsmen in each phase.
Interestingly so far, Adam Voges and Sean Marsh have scored the most runs against West Indies(last 3 Test matches). Nevertheless it was the start given by their openers enabled them to post big scores. And shockingly for many(particular me) David Warner is yet to score a Test century at MCG– There are 8 Aussies who have scored a Test century in all Australian Test grounds. The list is Boon, Clarke, Hayden, Langer, Ponting, M Hussey, M Taylor and M Waugh….and on Boxing Day this record beckons Warner!
Batsmen’s performance in each phase in last 3 Tests.
In 3 Inns against WI, Voges has scored 422 Runs featuring career highest unbeaten 269 at Hobart. His scoring rate against West Indies has been quite extraordinary, scoring rate of 36.81/100 balls- 8.63 boundaries/100 balls. He along with S Marsh had world record partnership in where Sean also scored career best score of 182 runs. Like Voges his scoring rate is the best against West Indies.
