A brief look at winning trend of each team in IPL 2022.
This year IPL has 10 teams participating in 70+ matches, with each playing 14 matches. In long tournament like this its hard to find keep regular consistency.
However there is always a trend in long tournaments of any sport, and cricket is no different. If one has to break total number of matches into 15 match phase than we will winning trend.
If teams are winning more than 50% of their matches in every phase of the tournament, then they usually win the tournament!. (however cricket is famous for unexpected outcome)
This year two teams (Gujrat Titans and Rajasthan Royals) have won more than 50% of their match in each phase. Interestingly they were the only two teams whose NRR never went below zero in their entire tournament!.
