Australia  v/s  West Indies 

 

For West Indies there is nothing to lose in their last game of the tournament. Their recent record against their old rival is very impressive. They defeated Australia 4-1 at home, and not to mention their overall impressive record of 10 wins in 16 matches played between them.

 

For Australia it’s a must win for them to qualify in semi-finals!.

Spin bowling was one of the factor responsible for their 1-4 loss in West Indies!.

Overall 36.20% of total wickets fell to spin(including run-out that happened in overs bowled by spinners).

To go further deep into how Australians were entrapped by spin bowling. Australia lost 19 wickets to spin of which  21.10% of them were dismissed facing less than < 3 balls of spin. 

On the other hand West Indies lost 6 wickets to spin bowling of which 3 were dismissed facing <  3 balls.
