Distinctly remember meeting him in May 1985, as I was trying to pursue my cricketing career in Chandigarh. Was not allowed to join his nets because didn’t have proper cricketing gear(he was right, I could have bruised my leg) eventually got a pair to bowl the whole day. Spend a good week at his nets Sector 17. No snaps to post, but had a great time living front of that stadium in a very tiny lodge.
